AC Forrest is a family-owned insurance agency specializing in health insurance, term life insurance, and related lines of protection for families and small businesses in Georgia, South Carolina, and neighboring states. We prefer to think of ourselves as risk management consultants rather than just insurance salesmen.

Instead of a one-size-fits-all sales approach, we want to get to know you in order to better understand your situation, your needs, and your budget. Our job is to help you identify and understand the options that seem to best suit your particular situation. We’re interested in a long-term relationship with you and hope to serve you for a long time, so we won’t rush or push you upfront.

We have more than 30 years of experience in helping individuals and small businesses with health insurance, life insurance, and related lines of protection. Because we are a small business, we understand the unique needs and pressures our clients face and have the experience and tools to serve you effectively. As we like to say, we’re big enough and experienced enough to help you, and small enough to care.

Art Forrest is the founder and president of AC Forrest Insurance Group, and leads the business from our Georgia office. His wife, Jo, serves as a client service specialist and provides administrative support. After several years in the insurance business, Art founded AC Forrest Insurance Group in 1980 with a desire to build a different kind of insurance agency, one that served the needs of individuals and small businesses with a client-centered philosophy that resulted in exceptional service to clients. Prior to working in the insurance industry, Art was a high school band director and is a proud alumnus of Florida State University. He and Jo live in suburban Atlanta, and their principal interest is entertaining and slightly spoiling their seven grandchildren.

Alex Forrest is the vice-president of AC Forrest, runs our Greenville, South Carolina office and additionally handles our marketing and Internet efforts. Before joining the family business several years ago, Alex graduated from Furman University and earned a couple of graduate degrees from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. Outside the office, Alex is also a human jungle gym to his kids, coaches youth soccer, and makes a mean quesadilla. Alex and his family live in Greenville, SC.
