How to Get Rid of HR and Compliance Issues

Let’s face it: HR can be a complicated mess for a small business. A real headache

You have to deal with tax issues, legal issues, Department of Labor regulations, all kinds of notices, and who knows what else! You’ve got rules from the feds and the state. And the scary thing is you don’t know what you don’t know, and that could cause problems.

Wouldn’t it be nice to just get rid of all that stuff?

We’ve started partnering with a company offering a service that you might find interesting. They provide complete outsourcing of every imaginable HR function, including payroll services, tax issues, handling of I-9s and that sort of thing – basically the entire range of regulatory and compliance issues, employee relations, and numerous other services.

What makes this different?

Plenty of companies do that kind of work, but here’s what’s unique about this company:

They share in all legal liability for these issues. That’s huge, because your company is liable for all of the governmental requirements – even the ones you don’t know about it. Our friends demonstrate their commitment to their clients by taking joint responsibility. If they mess up, they’re in trouble too.

And all those requirements are about to get a lot worse.

With the looming implementation of the Affordable Care Act (“ObamaCare”), the regulatory requirements your company will have to keep up with are going to become even more substantial and time-consuming. So now is the time to find a solid partner who can get this off your desk.

You’ll need to choose a reform-ready, professional HR compliance firm that knows these rules and is prepared and ready to help you meet this rapidly rising tide of compliance requirements.  The I.R.S. has been given the task of monitoring compliance with much of the new PPACA mandates and is currently hiring & training up to 15,000 new agents to get the job done.

With all this in mind, coupled with the federal government’s relentless search for new sources of “revenue,” we think all of our clients should considering outsourcing all of these HR functions to a firm of experts. Doing so may well prove to be a timely, valuable, and potentially money-saving idea (after all, who wants to be in the crosshairs of the I.R.S.?).

So what’s the price?

Let’s not pretend this is going to be cheap, because it’s not. The exact price will depend on your current needs and situation — there’s no one size (or one price) fits all offer here.

Sure you could hire one or more employees to handle these functions (and hope they know all of this stuff). But consider the price of adding a full-time HR expert to your team. You can probably partner with a team of experts for less.

You might also consider the price of getting hit by the IRS, Department of Labor, or some other governmental agency. That could be even more expensive.

In short, for a company the size of yours, we think it would be something worth considering and would certainly make your job a lot easier.

If you’re even curious about what this would look like for your company, let’s set up a time to talk about it. Maybe you can even score a free lunch!

We really believe it would be at least worth an hour to talk about these issues and see if this solution would be a good fit for you. Don’t you?
