Here’s an important change that may impact where you get prescription drugs.
BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and BlueChoice HealthPlan have made a change to the pharmacy network for their individual health insurance plans.
Effective October 1, these members must utilize the Advanced Choice Pharmacy Network in order to receive benefits. The new network of pharmacies includes access to CVS, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Kroger, Publix, K-Mart, Long’s Drugs, Bi-Lo and Winn-Dixie pharmacies plus various other grocers and independent pharmacies.
But please note: It does NOT include access to Walgreens or Rite-Aid.
