BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina recently announced that they will expand eligibility for a household discount on Medicare Supplement plans.
Previously, the discount was only available if a husband and wife were both members on a Medicare Supplement plan.
Happily, this has now been expanded. From their announcement:
Essentially, if you reside with someone else who is covered on a BlueCross BlueShield health insurance plan, or by BlueChoice, then you are eligible for a household discount on your Medicare supplement plan.
How to Get a Household Discount on Your BCBS Medicare Supplement Plan
If you already have a BCBS Medigap plan in place and need to begin receiving a household discount, you need to complete a form.

There are instructions at the bottom of the form on how you can return it via mail, email, or fax.
