Look, there’s no way to sugarcoat this, so I’m just going to throw it out there and hope you give me 30 seconds here: As you think through your goals and resolutions for 2012, you need to have a real conversation with yourself (not too real, because that would look weird) about getting some solid term life insurance in case you don’t make it to 2013. Isn’t that a heckuva wet blanket to throw on your warm fuzzy holiday season? Sorry. But it’s something you owe it to your family to think about, however briefly, because you need to do what you can to make sure you provide for their financial needs. Let’s be honest — the mortgage company may be sympathetic, but they’re still going to expect that monthly payment. Same with your other monthly bills.
The good news is we can knock this out pretty quickly and get you back to roasting chestnuts over an open fire. If you’re reasonably healthy, you can get a term life insurance policy that will protect your family without breaking the bank. In fact, I’d bet you could do it for about the price of going out to dinner (and I’m not talking about the steak place with low lights and white tablecloths.. I’m picturing Chili’s).
It’s strange to make a living selling stuff I hope you never need. But we both know this is something you need to take care of. So let’s get it over with! Contact us today (while you’re still thinking about it).
