Today is the Last Day to get Health insurance effective January 1

The deadline for health insurance plans with January 1, 2014 effective date is TODAY – December 23, 2014.
The first decision you’ll have to make is to determine whether you want to apply with premium subsides or without. If you make between 100-400% of the federal poverty limit you might be eligible for a government subsidy – this is the entire (and only) reason you’d interact with the government’s site at healthcare.gov. Look at this poverty level table to help you decide.
We suggest you first know what plan you’re going to be applying for. The best place to research plans and pricing (and utilize a subsidy calculator) is www.TheHealthSherpa.com.
If you don’t qualify for a premium subsidy from the government (or don’t want to bother with the hassle and privacy concerns), then the process from here should be remarkably simple. Contact us to get it started.
If you choose to apply for a subsidized plan, (please consider this precaution first), you can begin the process from the insurance company website or by registering at healthcare.gov.
You’ll be asked near the beginning of that process if you’re working with an agent. We would be very grateful if you clicked “yes” and listed our name and the identification number 10366673.
