Bright Health recently announced that it was expanding into South Carolina in 2020, where it will offer plans in Greenville, Anderson, and Pickens Counties.
This expansion, subject to regulatory approval, is part of a larger expansion strategy that will see Bright Health’a overall footprint include 12 markets in 22 states.
We don’t yet know any details about Bright Health’s coverage in South Carolina. In other markets their plans have been built around their “Health Plan Care Partner Model,” which they describe as “personalized Care Partner networks based on several criteria including comprehensive care across specialties, geographic reach, quality of care and operational efficiency.”
